the pregnancy continues...

 

A couple of weeks ago we started our series of prenatal classes at the hospital. The instructor mentioned that she had a pregnacy belly for the men to try on if they were interested in understanding what their mate was going through. Well, Carl approaced the instructor during a break and said he was interested. I had no idea he was interested. She strapped on the 25-pound belly and

he wore it for the duration of the class and he commented on how difficult it was to breath, and how his bladder was being pressed down on, and how he couldn't bend over. Finally, he knows I don't fib when i say these things.
I am excited to think of how much time I have left. It is so little and it has got me excited and frightened. Carl is painting the nursery today. It will be a neutral light brown color but it will make that room feel and look fresh again.
